Analysis of Paramore Magazine Advert

Magazine Advert Moodboard Inspiration

This mood board shows all the ideas we had for the magazine advert, we decided to look at famous artists like Rhianna, as they are very successful, so there magazine adverts must be very effective. We looked at all the different Paramour backgrounds, font they use regularly, and also there logos they have made. The way many artists actually show there album covers in the order being very big or small in the corner, this was very effective as it links the artist with covers, which some of them we hadn't even seen before when looking them up where the actual covers haven't been advertised at all. Also looking at different artists adverts have influenced us to use the same font for the text as it helps the audience to link the album/digipak with the advert, as well as the colour scheme. Although we may decide to change some of the important fonts like the name of the band 'Paramour' and the song name 'Ain't it fun'. The setting and locations background like a sun set as we have used a lot of shot like this in our music video. We are going to try and keep our costumes the same as in the music video to the advert as we think from looking at other adverts we like Rhianna's and Jessie J's, they actually have the same costumes/styles in the shot to the album cover.
